Path to Mrs. Universe First Runner-Up
I’ve always been drawn to whatever seemed impossible, no matter how daunting the task. Whether it was becoming a doctor, advocating against domestic violence, or stepping onto the grandest global stages, I welcomed each opportunity with unwavering commitment.
Balancing my clinic, advocating for women facing harassment, preparing for Mrs. Universe, and managing my family with my energetic five-year-old son, Ayaan, tested every part of me. Yet, I found strength in managing it all, even when the pressure seemed insurmountable. Losing 35 kg to compete in a pageant, mastering the art of walking in high heels, and refining my runway skills were just a few of the challenges I had to overcome. But conquering these hurdles was exhilarating, propelling me to ask myself, “What’s next?”
The first and perhaps greatest challenge was making the transition from a doctor’s chair to the glamorous world of pageantry. Mentally embracing this change required an immense shift in confidence and mindset. This leap was made possible by my family, whose support encouraged me to go all-in, letting me pour my heart and energy into both my practice and my passion for the stage.
Today, I am honored to hold the title of President of the Judicial Human Rights Council’s Women’s Cell of Madhya Pradesh and to wear the crowns of Mrs. Asia Pacific World 2024 and Mrs. Universe 2024 First Runner-Up. Each recognition is a reminder of my purpose: to serve others, raise awareness against domestic violence and harassment, continue my work as a dedicated physiotherapist, and walk proudly on prestigious stages worldwide.
Through all this, I am most proud to be the daughter of Mukesh Shroff, the wife of Vivek Singh Kushwah, and the mother of my spirited son, Ayaan. As I continue on this journey, I’m open to the best opportunities that come my way, eager to make my family and my country proud with every step forward.
